ERBE LAW FIRM FILES MINIMUM WAGE CLASS ACTIONS

Erbe Law Firm, along with Wandro & Associates, has filed two class actions alleging that local restaurants are illegally paying tipped minimum wage to servers who are engaging in nontipped labor.  One lawsuit involves Centro Restaurant and Orchestrate Hospitality, which also owns Zombie Burger, Django, and Malo.  The other case involves Johnny's Italian Steakhouse and Heart of America Management, which owns Johnny's Italian Steakhouse and Machine Shed Restaurants, among others.  We contend that the servers for those companies should be paid regular minimum wage ($7.25 per hour), not tipped minimum wage ($4.35/hour) when their employers have them do work that doesn't involve waiting on tables.
